Excerpt -  Cat Eyes by Haley Whitehall:

When I returned Alastair remained seated at the table. The human Alastair sat with perfect posture as if chiseled from stone by Michelangelo’s hand, not one single hair on his chest, his inquisitive, dreamy eyes, watching me.

My heart thumped wildly. If I hadn’t seen my mother shift constantly throughout my childhood, I would have screamed.

“It is finally Halloween,” Alastair spoke in a deep raspy voice. “I had tired of eating mice, birds, and table scraps.”

“You can only shift on Halloween?” I ventured a guess.

“Oh, I can shift freely now. Your father bound me in cat form until Halloween.” He shrugged, his grin showing off his dimples. “A small sacrifice for a beautiful woman. Your father wanted to ensure we bonded, and I didn’t rush things, since they wouldn’t be around to supervise the mating ritual.”

It took a second for his words to catch up to my sluggish brain. “Mating ritual? You’re to be my husband?”

Alastair nodded. “As I said, you are my present as well.”

“Holy toadstool.”

Eva Lefoy didn’t drop off the hay wagon yesterday but she sure comes up with wild ideas. So she created Sexy to Go to showcase different authors’ works (and her own) and bring them to new readers all over the globe. She lives in Washington state where when she’s not writing, she’s hiking and drinking tea.

**Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for honest review.**

I read these a couple at a time and instead of reviewing as a whole, since these stories are written by different authors, I will just give a 1-2 sentence quick review for each.

Don't Dare The Reaper by Leigh Ellwood

I enjoyed this one quite a bit. It did take a while for the Reaper to make his appearance and the love scene with him included was short, but I still liked the idea of the time in limbo and the happy ending.

Shhh by Jocelyn Dex

Whoa! This one actually gave me chills. I much prefer a paranormal horror movie to a slasher film and this story was a mini erotic paranormal horror. A ghost with naughty intentions and a woman who just might enjoy it. Great story!

Snowbound by Tara Quan

This one disappointed me. It took a while for the story to progress and several pages before we even learned the characters names. Then, just when the story gets good, the author abruptly stops and tries to usher readers to buy her books to hear more. Not a very fulfilling short story for me. I would have definitely been more interested in reading the other books had I gotten a satisfying short story to begin with.

Daughters of Astra: Jolie's Pirate by Pamela Moran

This story was pretty good, even though I was a little lost in the beginning, trying to figure out if I could trust the cat shifter/pirate or not. I would probably want to read more about the women and Astra.

Charity's Fortune by Daisy Banks

Even though this was probably the most tame story, it was also likely my favorite. I finished the story wanting to keep going and read more about this couple. Of course, that could be because I like historical romances.

Made New by Eva Lefoy

To be honest, I'm not much of a Frankenstein story fan so this story was just alright to me for the first third, or so. But when the wife makes a little scientific creation of her own, it definitely got more interesting.

Shattered by Shiloh Saddler

I usually prefer menage to straight M/M, but the plot of this story was interesting with the main character hoping to photograph a member of the living dead. Also, this was the only story to include a vampire.

Cat Eyes by Haley Whitehall

Another cat shifting story but with an entirely different plot. The idea of being betrothed without your knowledge is a bit shocking but the couple were rather sweet together.

My Monster, my Dom by Eva Lefoy

This book was a menage M/M/M with a side of BDSM. It wasn't my favorite but that's because this type of menage isn't my cup of tea. Regardless, I thought it was well written.

In closing...
Fun and naughty stories with a Halloween theme. Each one (or two, if you're a quick reader) is the perfect way to pass a half hour while getting into the spooky mood. Four suns!
