SynopsisWhere there is goodness, evil is sure to follow. Where there is light, darkness is never far behind.

Belleeza isn’t the angel your parents told you about as a child. She’s a weapon. A warrior. But even warriors have their weaknesses—and even warriors can have their hearts broken. Betrayed by the only man she’s ever loved, Belleeza throws herself into an unusual mission to find a missing teenage boy. But the treacherous path she finds herself on could lead her closer towards the darkness than she had ever imagined—perhaps even into the depths of Hell itself. And what about Colton, the beautiful angel turned demon who trampled all over her heart?

Betrayals, secrets, torture, and passion. Be careful what you wish for—Heaven on Earth might just be more than you bargained for.

**Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy of this book.**

There was serious action in this book!

I haven't read many angel and demon books. But something in the description spoke to me. This book was a crazy ride, that's for sure.

Belleeza is a complicated creature. She is an angel warrior whose job is to destroy demons. And she's good at it. Really good. She has the scars to prove the years she has spent on earth, obliterating evil.

But Belleeza's new assignment is one that even she is not prepared for. She won't be hunting a demon. Instead, she'll be on a quest to find a missing boy. A human boy who seems to have no connection to heaven or hell. And to make matters even more difficult, she'll be working alongside the one person she would just as soon forget.

Colton is a fallen angel. Though he may now be a demon, he has been given an opportunity to earn his wings, once more, and return to the heavens' good graces. But in order to do so, he must accompany Belleeza, his ex-partner, on her new assignment.

If facing her haunting lost love wasn't enough, Belleeza also receives vague instructions and little to no real information about the boy she is supposed to find. And she isn't the only one looking for him. This proves dangerous for everyone involved when the simple mission becomes an ambush, kidnapping, rescue, and visit to hell, itself.

The action definitely controls the story in this case. I usually like action/fighting scenes, but it seemed like they were happening in every single chapter. Our characters have very little downtime or room for conversation to explain events and further the relationships. The romance subplot is there but I wanted to see more interaction between Belleeza and Colton, other than when they were fighting demons.

After some very intense scenes, this does have a happy ending. I am not sure if the focus of the next book will be the same or different characters. If it is the same, I hope to see more character development for Colton.

Either way, I think anyone who reads this book can agree that Belleeza is one kick-ass heroine!

In closing...
I am curious as to what adventure the next book will bring us and who will be involved. I will definitely be on the lookout for it. Four suns!
