SynopsisFor Elizabeth Hayworth, tiny Peak Town, Colorado is a far cry from her life in L.A., but working at her best friend’s cupcake shop makes her think things are pretty darn good. Until she’s forced to spend time with said best friend’s grumpy future brother-in-law.

Dade Denning takes the hard work of running a horse ranch seriously. What he can’t take seriously is his future sister-in-law’s flighty best friend. Lizzy is everything he’s not—flirty, outgoing, and loud. The woman just rubs him the wrong way. So why does he fantasize about rubbing her the right way?

When circumstances force the two together, sparks fly and passion ignites. But sometimes the wildest love can burn too bright and the consequences can leave a lasting impression.

**Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy of this book.**

Another hit romance set in Peak Town!

Lizzy came to Colorado to assist her friend and help run her cupcake shop. She's come to find that life in the country is much more to her liking than the bustle of Los Angeles. She likes the people here and is seriously considering making the move a permanent one. There's just one problem. Being in Peak Town means being close to a certain tempting and moody cowboy.

Dade is only interested in running his ranch and surviving his brother's upcoming wedding. He isn't looking for a woman or anything complicated, yet every time he crosses paths with Lizzy, his body tends not to agree with his mind. She's the complete opposite of him in every way but he can't seem to stop himself from wanting to sample that sassy mouth.

Despite Dade's attempts to avoid it, he's constantly thrown together with Lizzy to work on his brother's wedding plans or confront a scheming weasel of a con artist. And the more time they spend together, the harder it is for them to deny their attraction. But can two people ever really keep their physical relationship from crossing the emotional barrier? Umm, no. No, they cannot.

This is the second book of this series and I absolutely loved them both! This time around, we get more of Lizzy and Dade's bantering and bickering and it's both hilarious and adorable. The plot does have a side of suspense like the first book of the series, but with new enemies.

The pacing was steady and there was a lot of yummy tension brewing between our couple before the fireworks happened. Even after that, our couple must overcome several obstacles to find their happy ending. I'm also starting to wonder if that apartment over the cupcake shop is cursed, too.

In closing...
I would love to see a certain policeman meet his match soon, if you catch my drift. Here is to hoping there are more happy couplings to come in this series. Five suns!
