SynopsisWhat happens when your neighbor hires you a stripper?

It starts one hell of a prank war. A war that involves goats, phallic chandeliers, stolen kisses in the rain, strawgasms, and eating out on the kitchen counter.

A war that could damn well involve two hearts and a plan. Her plan doesn’t involve falling in love. His life doesn’t involve plans.

This could be a problem.

An ambitious woman, a laid-back man, and a... goat?

Chloe has everything a woman could need. A swanky house in a sought-after neighborhood, expensive clothes and shoes, and a top-notch job in real estate. Sure, her nights are filled with frozen deli entrees and empty silence. And maybe she's missing out on really enjoying the spoils of her hard work. No one said life was perfect.

But one impromptu visit to Taco Tuesday leads her to a handsome stranger who is completely not her type. In her effort to escape his flirtatious advances, she unexpectedly starts a prank war with a man who isn't about to give up without a fight. And to make matters worse... he's her new neighbor.

Paynter isn't your average wealthy man. Yes, he's a millionaire, but it's from his work with computers and not years spent climbing a steep corporate ladder. He's perfectly happy with where he is in life, but can't help but want a piece of his sexy neighbor. When their playful pranks turn into lust-filled encounters, Paynter realizes he doesn't just want to win their battle--he wants Chloe's heart.

This book was filled with humor and some really steamy love scenes. The chemistry between our couple was evident from their first meeting and I was rooting for them the entire time. I did consider wanting to knock some sense into Chloe a time or two. She was just so stuck in her ways that it was hard for her to imagine any other life than the one she had. I'm glad she eventually came around.

Paynter was a great male lead, too. I loved his relaxed demeanor and playful personality. There was one particular scene where I was holding my breath and waiting for him to drop the ball, but he proved his loyalty to his new girl. I enjoyed every scene that he was in.

The secondary characters were a nice addition, as well. The goat included. Having owned goats, myself, I was happily surprised to see the mischievous kid enter the story. And they really do eat everything. I liked getting to know Paynter's siblings, too. If the epilogue is any indication, it seems we'll be seeing more of this family in future installments.

In closing...
I am foreseeing a naughty sequel starring Garret and a new nanny, perhaps? Four suns!
