Synopsis: Take two defense attorneys, add one troubled NFL QB who needs them, and what do you get? Hot, sexy conflict.
Gryff Ward made a serious mistake when he hired the hot-as-hell defense attorney Rayne Jordan as an associate in his high-profile legal firm, even though she’s one of the best. Now he’s struggling to keep it professional, especially when she insists on calling him “Boss.”
Rayne’s been attracted to the firm's top attorney ever since her interview. And she’s well aware that calling the conservative man “Boss” drives him crazy…in a very good way.
Add Trey Holloway, their newest client, a troubled NFL quarterback, into the mix. Tension arises when it’s clear that both Gryff and Trey want Rayne and Gryff is willing to fight for her. However, Trey doesn’t hide the fact that he wants Gryff too.
Now Gryff’s having a hard time fighting not only his attraction to Rayne but to another man. Even though he stubbornly refuses to admit his deepest, darkest desires.
Then Rayne takes control. She’s determined to have them both in not only her bed but her life, and she won’t give up until she does.
Note: This book in the series can be read as standalone. It includes an HEA ending. It is intended for audiences over 18 years of age since it includes explicit sexual scenes between all three characters.
The later the evening became, the looser the men became. Not that Trey needed any help, but Gryff? Yeah, he needed the booze to get the stick out of his ass and contemplate Trey’s suggestion of the three of them hooking up.
Amazingly enough, Trey had talked them into going back to his place. It surprised her when Gryff agreed. Still, she had no idea where things would go from there.
But whatever happened tonight, she was all in. How could she not be? Two handsome, hot, successful men. Anyone in their right mind wouldn’t say no. Of course not.
The only issue looming? Gryff was her boss and Trey her client. That may be not only an issue, but a big one. And possibly the fact that she was the only one a hundred percent sober. Not that either of the men were sloppy or falling down drunk, but they both seemed loose and happy. Besides, it was nice to see Gryff like that. The more he smiled and laughed, the more Rayne couldn’t help but fall for him.
Which, again, reminded her of the not-so-small matter of him being her boss. Damn.

This book was three times the fun!
Gryff shouldn't be attracted to his insanely gorgeous co-worker, Rayne. He also shouldn't find himself intrigued by his new client, Trey, who is both a playboy and a handsome football player. When Gryff learns that the two are interested in him--and each other--he has a decision to make. Does he give in to the temptation and feed his growing desires? Or will the relationship be too messy for the control freak to handle?
Trey and Rayne find the decision a much easier one to make. They are attracted to each other and want explore the chemistry between them. But they also think that something will be missing if Gryff doesn't join them. And even if they do manage to convince Gryff to give their threesome a go, there are still issues that have to be dealt with. Jealousy, fear, and denial are just a few of the things that threaten to tear them apart.
Oh boy. This was a great read. I have read a few other menage stories and even one other in this series but I have to say that this book is my new favorite in this theme. I enjoyed reading things from all three of the main characters' point-of-views. It was like seeing all sides of the naughty triangle.
Rayne was a woman on a mission to make her fantasy come true. She didn't back down but was also compassionate when Gryff had a hard time accepting his feelings. I thought she was a great character. She wasn't put off by Gryff's rough demeanor either. And he sure was moody at times as he tried to process what was happening.
Trey was fun to read about too. He had a more outgoing personality but it never got obnoxious enough to bother me. I've found that sometimes authors try to make their characters so different from each other that their traits become too exaggerated. Gryff was cranky but not enough to annoy me. Trey was snarky but the right amount. Overall, I was pleased with the characters.
For me, the blue ribbon in this book definitely goes to the bedroom scenes. Even when they weren't taking place in the bedroom, if you catch my drift. There was a lot of sexy time happening, yet I never grew tired or bored by it. Each scene was unique and extremely spicy. The phone call romp in the office was a fantastic scene and probably my favorite.
The plot doesn't get as involved in this one as it did in the other book of this series that I've read. It wasn't really the outside world that our threesome had to contend with. The friction was mostly within the relationship as the three learn to trust each other and give in to their desires. There was a nice amount of character development going on.

In closing...
