Felicity is an art major and hopeful that once her degree is finished, she will land a job in Los Angeles as a museum curator. Art is her passion, her hobby, and her future. Yet, all it takes is one evening of accidentally being discovered in a stranger's bed and suddenly her entire world is turned upside down.
Jared definitely isn't looking for a relationship. Or even a fling. He's far too busy with his work as a lawyer to even entertain the idea of charming the woman who is snoozing on his pillow. Yet, one glimpse of her shy smile and he's sunk. He wants her, despite all of the warning bells going off in his head.
An overnight romance will never be enough for either of them, which they soon discover after only one day together leaves them both feeling empty, again. I loved everything about this book. The characters were just perfect. Felicity was timid but willing to let herself live in the moment. Jared was probably the most charming male lead I've read about in a while. Everything he said left me swooning. I have a serious book crush on this guy and automatically envisioned Josh Bowman as my Jared. Yum.
I was enchanted in the beginning and then left fanning myself for a while. Then I was on the edge of my seat until the conclusion, which I won't give away, but it's so incredibly sweet. This was one of those instant connections that I've experienced, myself. And I got swept up into the emotions right along with our couple. I can't gush enough about how much I adored this story.
The romance was scorching hot and deliciously sweet at the same time. I fell in love with our characters and am so sad that this story had to end. I noticed that it's a start to a new series and I hope to see a lot more where this came from. Maybe a happy ending for Thad, perhaps? Or even Jared's ex? I don't care, I just want more!
