SynopsisCody’s the sexy drummer extraordinaire of the hard rock band Oblivion.

Kitty’s the little sister of one of Cody’s band mates and she’s had a secret crush on him for years.

When the band are back home for a few days, the chemistry between them is both unexpected and undeniably off-the-charts.

She quickly realizes that the prospect of having what she’s always fantasized about is a very real possibility.

He quickly realizes that although he feels this mind-blowing attraction towards her, she’s the little sister of one of his band mates - he would get his ass kicked from here to hell if he ever laid a finger on her!

But can Kitty convince him? After all, no one else needs to know, a one-time hook-up might suit both of them…or could it ruin everything?

Warning: This story contains hot rock stars, sizzling sexual encounters and language that you would expect from heavy rock musicians used to a life of sex, booze and rock and roll. Pure Torture contains graphic sex scenes and is strictly 18+ only.

I sit down in an empty space on the chair right next to him. He can’t get up and move now, it
would be way too obvious to the others that he’s trying to avoid me. I smile and sarcastically
chirp, “You having a good time Cody?”

He groans and responds grouchily, “No, not really.”

I lean in close to him, so close that I can feel the heat from his skin. I place my hand on his knee
and see him suck in a deep breath. I purr, “Why don’t you come up and have a dance.”

His response is abrupt. “No thanks.”

Hansen, who’s sitting on the other side of him punches him playfully on the shoulder as he
reprimands, “Don’t be such a dickhead Sticks. If a beautiful lady asks you to dance, you fucking
drag your sorry ass out of that seat and go and dance.” Hansen pushes him, nudging him
roughly out of his seat. Cody tumbles off his chair but quickly gains his footing as he glares
irately at Hansen.

I quickly take advantage of the opportunity by springing out of my chair and securing Cody’s
hand in mine. I tug on his arm, “Come on Cody, it’ll be fun, I promise.” Cody just responds with a
grunt as I start to drag him reluctantly to the dance floor. After a few steps he takes control and
it’s him that’s practically dragging me as we push our way into the middle of the crowd. We’re so
far into the vibrating and moving swarm of people that we’re completely out of sight from the VIP
area.

Until now Cody had kept his distance but as soon as we reach a spot where he’s
obviously satisfied that we can’t be seen by his bandmates, he grabs me roughly around my
body, one hand clasping my ass and the other around my waist as he crushes our bodies
together. I can feel his hard muscled torso pressing against my soft curves and he feels so
darned good.

His eyes focus on mine and the heat and lust radiating off him is voracious. As he
starts to move erotically against me he rumbles, “You’re fuckin’ killing me Kitty. I’ve tried to keep
my distance, but you’re making it near impossible.” His face is so close to mine that I can feel
his breath as he groans, “You’re such a massive tease.”

Tania Sparks is a romantic at heart who genuinely believes in true love and soul mates. She
met her husband while still at school, she was sixteen, he was seventeen. They are high school
sweethearts who more than twenty five years later are still very much in love and are happily
married with two beautiful daughters.

Tania does have a full time job, but in her spare minutes enjoys spending time with her family,
cooking and reading. She's an avid reader who tends to chomp through a large volume of
books, mainly in the romance genre. Her other major "hobby" is writing steamy rock star erotic romances!

In 2014, after finding herself constantly being inspired by numerous romance novels, she
decided to try her hand at writing. After penning her first scene she discovered that she enjoyed
it immensely and so resolved to continue with the rest of the story that was swirling in her
imagination. That story resulted in her first novel, Heaven Sent which is the first book in her
Oblivion on Tour Series. This was soon followed by Bolt From The Blue and Pure Torture. Each
book in the series is a stand-alone story which follows a different band member from a hard rock
group called Oblivion - and of course the feisty ladies that steal their hearts! The other books in
the series are at various stages of completion.

Now-a- days Tania finds it very difficult to control her imagination and swears that her rock stars
are constantly chanting their stories in her head. She can't wait to share them with you..

Mmm... Yes.

So, I have a bit of an obsession with music. All genres, really, but rock in particular. I own a guitar, bass, and at one time even had a set of drums. And while I tried to make my own music for a while, I realized I'm a better listener than player. However, I still have a soft spot in my heart for musicians, having dated a couple in the past and Warped Tour 2004 is one of my fond memories. And believe it or not, this was the first rock star book I've ever read!

Pure Torture was a quick read for me. Cody is a hot drummer with a wild streak. He blows through women like a rocket, with no plans to settle down. I could tell right away that this was going to be a steamy read. And boy was I right...

Then in comes Kitty, our bandmate's little sister who is "all grown up" and harboring a huge, long-time crush on Cody. When the two spot each other, the sparks are instant. And so is the temptation. But Cody realizes that Kitty is off limits and he tries his very best to avoid her flirty advances. For a while.

But the majority of the story deals with after the couple comes together and their struggles to find a sense of normalcy in such a strenuous situation. Long-distance, groupies, insecurities, and grief, eat away at Cody and Kitty's relationship.

My only real qualm with this story is Kitty's immaturity. It really shines through when she decides to lie to Cody. I won't go into further detail about it, but I lost a bit of respect for her, at that point. Sure, long distance relationships are hard for both parties. Having spent a considerable amount of time in a long-distance type of relationship, myself, I had a hard time pitying her. But that was due to my own life experience. I eventually forgave Kitty. Even fictional characters are allowed to be idiots and make mistakes. :)

In closing...
This book definitely turned me on to the rest of the series. I will go back and read the first two books and look out for the next ones, too. Four suns and rock on!
