Synopsis"I'm face-down in forty glorious inches of well-endowed cake, seriously reassessing my life choices, when suddenly I hear it. The voice that launched a thousand teenage boy-band dreams. My #1 crush, Drew Delaney himself."

Ten years ago, Drew was boy-band royalty: the subject of a million teenage fantasies - and the guy next door. He was so far out of my league, I couldn't see him for stars, but now I'm back in town for our high-school reunion, guess who I run into but Mr. Right-Now himself...

Older. Hotter. And still sexy enough to make me forget about the glittery white frosting currently smeared across my chest.

Sparks are flying, and so are my panties, and soon, our trip down memory lane has taken a detour to 'oh my god, don't stop!'. Population: me.

But can I turn Mr. Right-Now into Mr. Forever? Or will crazed fans, vicious yoga moms, and three dozen flesh-toned popsicles (don't ask) doom our romance to the 'Where are they now?' section of MTV's greatest hits?

You'll be begging for a taste of Lila Monroe's new sexy, laugh-out-loud summer romance!

Combining her love of writing, sex and well-fitted suits, Lila Monroe wrote The Billionaire Bargain. Lila enjoys writing, as it gives her a flexible schedule to spend time with her kids and a wonderful excuse to avoid them. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, who strips out of his well-fitted suits nightly.

Maggie's life isn't going according to the plan. After her dream bakery is put out of business, she's forced to return home to live with her parents. To make matters even worse, her teenage crush is back in town and he happens to find her in a rather embarrassing situation. Maggie may be able to laugh it off but she can't shake how attracted she is to the town's biggest heartthrob.

Drew's career in music has shifted from performer to producer and he couldn't be happier to return home to set up his studio and escape L.A. After years of touring and band drama, he wants to build a new life for himself. And when he spots a certain girl from his past, he's determined to make her a part of it. Her and her delicious cupcakes.

As Maggie and Drew grow closer, sparks fly on just about every flat surface available. And some not-so-flat surfaces that require a bit of creativity on their part. Yet, just when things start to turn serious, both Drew and Maggie have to decide if their relationship is worth sacrificing possible career opportunities for.

Can they have their cake and eat it too? *snicker*

This story combined two of my favorite things: music and dessert. In my day job, I own a bakery. No kidding. I'm on extended maternity leave right now, just sticking with simple things like cookies and fudge, but I'm usually up to my elbows in cake. So when Maggie is making her sugar magic, I couldn't help but smile. The music lyrics were also a nice addition to the storyline.

I loved Maggie's determination to find her way again and Drew's determination to win her over. It was an adorable pairing with several hilarious moments. I don't want to give anything away but the bachelorette party with the *special guest* dancer made me tear up because I was laughing so hard. There was lots of humor sprinkled throughout the book. Sprinkled. Get it? Ha!

And the romance was really spicy. Like a big gingersnap cookie. Seriously, I could go all day with the dessert references. It's in my blood. And the love scenes definitely got my blood pumping while reading this book. Maggie was bold and Drew was swoonworthy. I think this couple might just be my favorite out of all of Lila Monroe's books so far. And that's saying something considering I've liked them all.

In closing...
A fun blend of sugar and spice that really hits the spot! Okay, that's the last one. I swear. Five suns!
